Bible Studies Overview
Bible Studies allow your church to create structured, teacher-led study programs with individual lesson tracking. Teachers lead studies, students are assigned to them, and progress is tracked lesson by lesson.
Bible Studies vs. First Steps
Bible Studies are where you teach doctrine — the Oneness of God, repentance, water baptism in Jesus' name, the infilling of the Holy Ghost, holiness, and the rest of the foundational truths of the Word. First Steps is a separate pathway focused on getting disciples grounded in their walk with God and plugged in to serve. The two run alongside each other.
Key Concepts
| Term | Description |
|---|---|
| Study | A Bible study group with a teacher, assigned students, and a series of lessons |
| Lesson | An individual session within a study that can be marked complete |
| Study Template | A reusable curriculum that can be applied to new studies |
How Studies Work
- A leader or admin creates a study and assigns a teacher
- Students are added to the study
- The teacher creates lessons (or uses a template) and teaches through them
- As lessons are completed, the teacher marks them complete
- Leaders can monitor progress across all studies from the Bible Studies page
