Notification Center
The Notification Center keeps you informed about important activity in your church's Apostolic Path account.
Accessing Notifications
Click the bell icon in the top-right corner of any page to open the notification panel. You can also navigate to the full Notifications page from the sidebar or user menu.
Types of Notifications
You may receive notifications for:
- New student added — When a student joins your church
- Milestone achieved — When a student completes a New Birth milestone or First Step
- Flag added — When a student is flagged for attention
- Study or class updates — When you're assigned to a new study or class
- Team changes — When new users join your church
- System announcements — Important platform updates
Managing Notifications
Marking as Read
- Click on a notification to mark it as read and navigate to the related item
- Use Mark All as Read to clear all unread notifications at once
Notification Retention
Notifications are automatically deleted after 90 days to keep your notification center clean and relevant.
Push Notifications
Apostolic Path supports push notifications on:
- Web browsers (Chrome, Firefox, Edge, Safari)
- iOS (via the mobile app)
- Android (via the mobile app)
To enable push notifications:
- When prompted by your browser or mobile app, click Allow
- You'll start receiving real-time push notifications for important events
