Managing Students

The Students page is where you view, add, and manage everyone in your church's discipleship program.

Viewing Your Student Roster

Navigate to Students in the sidebar to see your complete student list. The roster shows:

  • Name and contact information
  • New Birth status (icons for Repentance, Water Baptism, Holy Ghost)
  • First Steps progress (completion count)
  • Assigned teacher (if applicable)
  • Flags (visual indicators for attention items)

Searching and Filtering

Use the search bar at the top of the Students page to find students by name or email. You can also filter by:

  • New Birth status (e.g., show only students who haven't received the Holy Ghost)
  • First Steps completion
  • Assigned teacher
  • Active flags

Adding a New Student

  1. Click the Add Student button at the top of the Students page
  2. Fill in the student's information:
    • First name and Last name (required)
    • Email (optional)
    • Phone number (optional)
    • Assigned teacher (optional — select from your team members)
  3. Click Save to add the student
tip

You can also invite students to register themselves using Student Invites. This lets them fill in their own contact details and creates their account automatically.

Editing a Student

  1. Click on a student's name to open their profile
  2. Click Edit to modify their information
  3. Make your changes and click Save

Assigning a Teacher

Each student can be assigned to a teacher for personal follow-up:

  1. Open the student's profile
  2. Click the Assigned Teacher field
  3. Select a teacher from the dropdown
  4. The teacher will see this student in their dashboard

Student Limits by Plan

Your subscription tier determines how many students you can have:

Outreach150 students
HarvestUnlimited
MultiplyUnlimited
NetworkUnlimited

If you reach your limit, you'll need to upgrade your plan to add more students.
